The name “Merkki” symbolizes the joint mission of its museum and archive to foster awareness of media’s evolving role in society.  \n\n\n\nThe museum focuses on newspaper printing and journalism\, while the archive preserves the historical records of Sanoma Corporation.  \n\n\n\nMerkki also organizes exhibitions\, events\, and provides access to the latest media research for all interested individuals.
