A few words about Rafaela Seppälä

In a testament to her kindness and her passion for sharing the beauty of art, Rafaela is graciously opening her home near Kaivospuisto to a select group of the International Women’s Club of Helsinki (IWCH). This rare opportunity will allow our members to experience a guided tour of a part of her private collection of iconic pieces of Finnish design, offering a glimpse into the treasures that she has lovingly curated over the years and which were presented in 2017 at the Nationalmuseum, Sweden’s museum of art and design.

Beyond her media career, Seppälä is a passionate supporter of the arts. She has curated an extensive collection of contemporary and modern art, featuring both Finnish and international artists. Her patronage extends to organizing exhibitions and supporting emerging artists. She is actively involved in philanthropic efforts, focusing on cultural, educational, and social causes. Her contributions have significantly impacted the Finnish art scene and the broader cultural landscape.

It is a tremendous privilege to spend an hour immersed in the presence of some of the most iconic contemporary art pieces.
