The Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Helsinki cordially invites you to an exclusive evening of music and design, featuring talented Slovak artists Veronika Bridová (accordion) and Hana Rehorčíková (design). Enjoy a captivating accordion performance by Veronika Bridová, a rising talent from The Sibelius Academy, followed by an exhibition of sustainable and heritage-inspired design by Hana Rehorčíková. The evening will conclude with a glass of fine Slovak wine.

Let’s meet at the central railway station to visit together the exhibition “An Enlightening Journey: the new voices of France” photographed Juliette de Cuzey with the support of the French Cultural Institute in Helsinki and VR. The exhibition consists of photo portraits of young immigrants who also tell their story in their own words through video interviews and short texts. These young people are students at a vocational high school in Beauvais in France and part of an emergency education program designed to quickly allow them to join the curriculums offered there.

Join us for a guided tour of the Reidar Särestöniemi 100 Years exhibition, On The World’s Shore, at the Didrichsen Art Museum. Särestöniemi, one of Finland’s most celebrated painters, is known for his bold colors and expressive depictions of Arctic nature. This exclusive tour offers a deep dive into his work and artistic legacy.
