Visit to EMMA Museum
September 22 @ 13:50 – 15:30

Please join us for a guided tour of the EMMA – Espoo Museum of Modern Art, with a welcome by Krist Gruijthuijsen, the Director of the EMMA. This visit has been arranged in conjunction with our member, Pauline Portheine.
EMMA is an art museum that believes in the power of art to inspire and evoke a unique visual and spatial experience. It strives to foster creativity and boundary-pushing in art and design.
EMMA is Finland’s largest art museum, with gallery space covering a total area of 6000 m2. The museum is located in the Tapiola district of Espoo in the former Weilin & Göös printing house designed by Professor Aarno Ruusuvuori (1925–1992). The building is a classic sample of 1960s concrete brutalism and an iconic local landmark.
Entry is free with museum card. 20 spaces available.
We will meet at WeeGee at 13:50 and transition to EMMA’s event space from there.
If you wish to cancel, or are unable to attend, please contact Sarah@iwch.fi
