After spending a lovely day last October in Estonia with the International Women’s Club of Tallinn, it’s time to host them for a quick visit in Helsinki where we will have lunch together. Then, our dear member, Raila Laine will take us on a very special guided tour of Helsinki!

About Raila Laine, our Helsinki guide

Raila Laine has a diverse international background, having lived in cities like San Francisco, Stockholm, London, and Mallorca. She grew up in San Francisco and later worked as a flight attendant for nearly 20 years, gaining familiarity with various destinations worldwide. Following this, she became a tour manager at Finnair. She obtained her professional qualification as a travel guide in 2006 and worked as a guide and interpreter on the Kristiina Regina for several years. Travel is not only her profession but also her hobby and passion, allowing her to explore different cultures and meet new people. The United States, particularly, holds a special place for her, as she enjoys showcasing its culture and humor to Finnish tourists. She has also gained experience in China and various Asian destinations through her work. Presently, she works as an authorized Helsinki guide during the summer and engages in customer service at her family’s gym in Espoo, where she also enjoys exercising.
